The Realm has been in silence for too long and we at Wizry are thrilled to announce that our next big update is soon to be released! The Wizry Team has been working hard for the past few months preparing for this epic expansion, making sure that there is an abundance of new, exciting features for you to enjoy as well as enhancing your experience in the realm.

Before we get into the details, we would like to apologize for the unusual downtime that Wizry has been going through recently. We have had technical difficulties with our old server machine but to make this update even better, our Head-Tech Sam has transferred our server to an upgraded machine that promises better performance and uptime! - The Lag has been Slayed!

Update Summary

• Introducing The Egyptians - The Egyptian Expansion takes the spotlight of this update! The expansion will allow you to become an Egyptian, whether you’d take the path of a magician or a host. In addition to that, new maps and locations will also be introduced to the game like The Land of Sand. Likewise to the other mythologies, Egyptian Mobs and Items will also be released so keep an eye out for them! Especially the Mummies... - Be expecting a lot more Egyptian Content in the near future!

• Demi-Titans - We know how much you love the Titans so we’re bringing them back! Demi-Titans are having an Epic Return to The Realm of Percy Jackson! Complementary to that, Mount Othrys will be introduced as a home location to the Demi-Titans.

• Aether - A new dimension will be added with a variety of custom biomes such as floating islands, icy spires and flying forests!
  The opportunities are limitless! Adventure through the magical world while being able to build and create as well as discovering key locations. Mobs and Items that are exclusive to Aether will also be added.  

• Capture The Flag - Our beloved, classic PVP mini game is returning to the realm with improved plugins, purchasable kits through tokens and also new maps! In the near future, we will be allowing you, our players to submit your own CTF Maps to us and it may just have a chance of showing up in the game lobby!

• Dungeons - To satisfy your thirst for adventures and challenges, we will be officially releasing Ward 666 with a functional reward system as well as our unreleased Norse Dungeon, Halls of Dunhirm. Alongside that, we have revised and optimized all dungeon mobs.

• New Iconic Locations - It has become a tradition for us here at Wizry to always include a variety of new locations with every big update we release so here’s some of the new areas you can be expecting to see.

• Lotus Casino - Trippy cookies, gambling, slot machines & a whole lot of fun! You know what they say… What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
• Hotel Valhalla
• Brooklyn House
• Heliopolis
• The Twentieth Nome

• Tier V Loot Chest - Collectors and scavengers, be prepared!

• Donation Store Revamp - It has been a while since we’ve last made changes to the donation store so we are going to be using this opportunity to give it a makeover as well as adding new packages and items to the store; such as the Gladiator Rank.

Tiki Build Competition - Wizry's First Ever!

Wizry Creative has been reopened and with that, we would like to invite you all to join the Tiki Build Competition on our server. We’ve had amazing and memorable experiences in the creative community in the past, such as being given the honor of hosting 2015’s MC Builder’s Con. With that said, take part in the Tiki Build Competition and create even more epic experiences amongst others who share similar passions! If you're gonna be there, let us know in the comments to give us an idea of who to expect! Everyone is invited so bring your friends, your favorite aunt or even your grandma! We mean it.. Everyone is invited so come along!

How to enter

The Tiki Build Competition will be hosted on the Wizry Creative server.

To join, run Minecraft in version 1.11.x and use the IP address: mc.wizry.net

Once you are in the hub, join the creative server by typing /server creative or simply using the Bungee NPC navigation system provided at the hub.

Upon joining Wizry Creative, type ‘/warp contest’ 
And then ‘/plot auto’ which will give you a 45x45 plot whereby you can begin working on your entry. Please note that all plots that has been claimed will be judged and also, you may only have 1 entry, either as a team or individually.

The Tiki Build Competition begins on Friday the 14th of July at 10 GMT and End on Friday the 21st of July at 10 GMT. Upon the deadline, the judging period will commence where members of the Wizry Buildteam will decide on the top 10 entries. The system is simple; the entry with the highest score will take first place and win the competition, followed by the 2nd and the 3rd etc.

Rules

1) All entries that are submitted must be Tiki Themed or they will be disqualified.

2) No Wizry Build-Team Members are allowed to participate in the competition.

3) You may only submit one entry. This means, you may not use alternative accounts. (Failure to comply will lead to disqualification)

4) All builds must be created within the one week period

5) Maximum of 3 people per team, to keep it fair

6) Default texture pack is recommended, as the competition will be judged in default.
